Being a natural beauty doesn't mean you have to never wear makeup or neglect your skin care routine. None of us wear makeup daily (because, we are home with kids, and they really don't care what we look like) but when we do we like it to look really good and actually be good for us. My biggest reason to ditch my old makeup is the chemicals. After being exposed to so many harmful toxins because of IVF, and then having a cancer scare, I went from simply believing these toxins were bad for me, to making more of an effort to get them out of my house. The drugstore brands I previously purchased typically had ingredients such as Synthetic preservatives, Phthalates,
Polypropylene, Dimethicone and Formaldehyde - just to name a few!

BUILD A FOUNDATION
A great skin care routine like mentioned above will keep your face naturally beautiful, but if you want to galm it up, your next step is MAKEUP! We love playing with makeup and creating fun looks. With the buildable coverage of the Savvy Minerals foundations, you can go minimal with a breezy beach babe glow, or you can channel your inner diva with highlighting, contouring, etc.

PRIMER
You don't want to skip this step. A primer really can make the difference in the finished look of your face. It smooths out your complexion and gives a more even surface for the foundation to adhere to. The SM line has both a matt and a hydrating primer option.
​
MISTING SPRAY
You CAN apply your foundation without this, but I wouldn't recommend it. Just three quick spritzes on your brush helps to reduce fall out (and that means your product lasts longer) and also makes the foundation cover better and last longer.

FOUNDATION
There are currently 10 shades of mineral foundation available. With that many options, you should easily be able to find a shade that works for your skin.
