Beyond the Buy

Congratulations! You have purchased a Premium Starter Kit (PSK)! Welcome to your new oily life. You are gonna love it!

Today, let's go beyond the purchase of the starter kit and prepare you for actually using the products you have invested in. Your kit will be here in about a week or so and you will want to be ready to use them to your full advantage from the first sniff.

There are some supplies you might want to purchase to be able to use your new kit. I have them broken down by what starter kit you purchased. There are several kits, including a makeup one, but I will focus on the Thieves PSK and the Original PSK.

Companion supplies for a PSK:

  • Roller ball bottles - You can find a ton of options on Amazon.

  • Roller ball labels - Various options are available on Amazon. Get water proof labels that are pre made and pretty if you want, but also get waterproof ones that you can write on for labeling your own custom creations. Believe me, you won't remember what is in what bottle. I have several unlabeled custom blends I have made and I have no idea what they are.

  • Small Amber glass spray bottles - Again, can be found on amazon

  • Carrier oil - This can be coconut oil for a lot of applications. You will want a liquid oil, such as jojoba, grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, avocado oil or fractionated coconut oil. You will need a carrier oil to dilute your essential oils for a lot of recipes. Different oils are used for different applications, but when just starting out, pick one and just go with it. They will all work fine.

  • Witch Hazel or alcohol (Not the rubbing kind... the drinking kind) - These are used in several recipes, including DIY perfume recipes. (You can get this when you are ready to use it.)

  • Storage - You will want a shelf or some kind of storage solution for your new collection. A pro tip is to display them in a visible area. Somewhere you see daily. The temptation is to put them in a drawer, or away somewhere. If you do this, and you are not used to using them daily, you will forget. Your valuable oils you have invested in will sit lonely, and unused. You can't get any benefit from an unused product.

What is your 5 year plan? What are you going to do to achieve it? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? If you cringe at the thought of still being in your current job, and want a better option for you and your family, check out this opportunity. It's never too early to start something good, and this is GOOD.

Companion Supplies for the Thieves PSK

  • Large glass spray bottles - Amazon has a good selection. You will want 2 or three of these. Depending on how many bottles of different cleaners you want to make.

  • Smaller Glass spray bottles - Amazon has some

  • A foaming soap dispenser or two - Amazon. (What CAN'T you find on Amazon?) This is not 100% necessary, but if you are into saving $, you will want it. The foaming hand soap can be diluted to go 2 or even 3x farther than simply using the soap out of the bottle it comes in. When I get a bottle, I divide it into three foaming soap dispensers and then top them off with water. That's SIX bottles of soap out of two purchased bottles. That ends up being WAY cheaper than store bought soaps!

  • Labels for your large bottles - Amazon. There are several that you can find that are already made, or you can get labels you can write on.

If you go ahead and get these things purchased and in the mail, you will enjoy your new PSK to the fullest. You don't have to spend a crazy amount on any of this. There are really cheap and more expensive options for every category.

If you need some specific suggestions, contact us and we can help you out. We are excited for you and can't wait for you to get that kit in the mail. We know what a game changer and pivotal point this can be in your life.

There are a TON of recipes and usage suggestions all over the internet. We do suggest going to Life Science Publishers and checking out some of their educational materials. There are recipe books, etc. That can help you know how to use your oils. They also sell glass bottles, etc. (they are not always the cheapest - check amazon first)

Have I missed anything? Are you a seasoned oily vet and have a helpful suggestion? Comment below! I would love to have your input.
