GET ON ER
First, I have to say that if you are not on Essential rewards, you NEED to be. It's seriously the best option for getting ALL the oils. On top of the 24% discount you get by being a wholesale member, you earn points through the ER program that can be redeemed for free product. If you are on ER, you also qualify for reduced shipping, special promotional items, priority when there are low stock items, etc. If you plan to place even a couple of orders a year, the ER program is a no-brainer.
Instead of placing a bigger order every couple of months, you would place a monthly 50pv order every month. This helps to more accurately budget for your oils and makes the products cheaper, and therefore a better value to you.
Instead of wishing for that bottle of Frankincense, you can save your ER rewards and redeem them for a FREE bottle.
If you signed up for ER at the time you purchased your premium starter kit, that was your first month of ER and you earned points for that month, as well as qualifying for the 100pv FREE gift that month.
YOU ARE ON ER - NOW WHAT
If you signed up for ER but haven't had to place or change your monthly order, you need to know some things.
1. You get to choose the day your order processes. It is recommended you leave it on the same day each month, so you remember it, but you can change it monthly if you desire.
2. You have to change your ER order ever month, or you will be shipped your previous month's order again.
3. Sometimes things go out of stock between the time you put your order together and the time it processes. If it is after the first of the month, and you have your monthly order cemented, you can hit the process now button. This will leave your monthly order at the date you set for the next month, but manually processes this month's order. This is recommended if you are ordering in a really busy month or have high demand items in your cart.
4. You need to sign up for PV assistant. This is a fantastic program EVERY PERSON ON ER NEEDS TO HAVE ACTIVATED. It is a free PV monitoring program that takes seconds to activate. It makes sure you don't miss an ER order because of an out of stock issue. If you have less than 50pv on your order because of any reason, that can effect your ER status. You don't want that. PV assistant makes sure you always have at least 50pv. You tell it what your minimum is (50, 100, 200, etc.) and you tell it what products you want as alternatives. I put a couple of products of varying price points on my assistant. If something on your month's ER order goes out of stock, the PV assistant will automatically sub that item with one of your alternate choices.
5. Shipping is reduced for ER members, and this is great, but there is a way to get EVEN CHEAPER shipping! You can sign up for YLGo. This is an optional program that allows you to pay for your entire year's shipping up front. You get even deeper shipping discounts this way. It's a chunk of change up front, but is really worth it.
Placing Your First Month's ER Order
You are going to have to learn how to navigate the virtual office (this video is a good intro, but not a complete tutorial) in order to place your first month's ER order. This is not hard. If you can log into facebook, or operate the internet at ALL, you can master this in minutes. If you have any trouble at all, please feel free to contact me and I will walk you through it. Once you log in, its just a matter of clicking around and exploring all the great resources available.
To place or change your ER order, you need to click the ESSENTIAL REWARDS option in the left menu. This will bring up a couple of options, and you want to view or change your monthly order. This will bring up a page with several boxes on it. One of the first ones has the option to view or change your order. Choose the option to change order. This brings up your shopping page. From here, you can search for specific products using the search bar and add them to your cart, or you can browse the entire product catalog and add products from that. You complete your order by following the on-screen prompts.
