DIY Eye Serum Roller

When we began using essential oils for everything, one of the requests my husband made was something for his dark eye circles. All three of us (yes, even the baby) have dark, puffy under eyes that are especially pronounced when we are tired. I can cover mine up with my makeup, but dh only resorts to such trickery if it is a really bad day (Sorry honey, I outed you).

We have been using Frankincense and Lavender on our under eyes, but I think we would use it more if we combined it in an easy to use bottle. (Because we all know that taking an extra step in your bedtime routine is difficult) SO, I made a roller bottle for myself and my hear husband.

Eye Serum:

20 drops of Lavender Essential Oil 10 drops of Elimi Essential Oil 20 drops of Frankincense Essential Oil Carrier oil

Supplies:

15 ml glass bottle (I re-use my empty Young Living bottles) 1 roller fitment

In a 15 ml bottle, I added the essential oils, then the carrier oil. The carrier oil measurements don't really need to be exact, but the goal is to fill the remaining space. After I've secured the fitment top on the bottle, I'll shake it to mix the oils.

I use this 2-3 times daily (when I'm at home and not wearing makeup) on my eyes by rolling it on the outer part of my eye, and then lightly massaging it into my skin for about a minute.

CAUTION: Be careful not to get this directly into you eyes! If you do, then flush your eyes with carrier oil-- NOT water. Check out this post on the subject.

While you are on the blog, go to this post to see what happened while I was making these roller bottles. I almost cried.
